Halfling: which types it suits

Plains Folk

Small frame, big table. Knows every neighbour's birthday.

Halflings stand about half as tall as humans and move with a quick, light step. They build their villages in open fields and low hills and value the garden, the kitchen and the neighbours above almost everything. Too small to win most fights, they get through danger on wits and luck, and in story after story it's the halfling who shows the biggest courage at the least expected moment.

Read as a personality: warm, brilliant at running a household and good at enjoying small pleasures in a big way. Feeding and looking after people is where the happiness comes from, and any gathering gets softer with them in it. They love a familiar routine and get a little nervous about change, but when someone they love is in danger, they're first out the door.
