The Inventor: which types it suits

Tech

Powers the radio with a bicycle generator. Someone else does the pedalling.

The inventor makes what doesn't exist yet. A generator from a bicycle wheel, a rainwater filter from plastic bottles, a speaker strapped to a remote-control car to lead the shuffling crowd off in the wrong direction. Look at a piece of junk and they see a second use before the first. Not everything works, but when something does, it changes how the whole group lives, and everyone can tell how the day is going from the noises coming off their workbench.

Read as a personality: curious and drawn to how things work. They think 'what if we tried this?' before any set method and treat failure as just another result. They spend long stretches absorbed alone and can look cut off from the world, but their head is always busy. Their explanations run long and, on reflection, are quite convincing.
